Contract Service Desk Technician - Rate TBC - 3 Months initially with a good prospect of extension or a permanent role

Key Skills - 1st line Support, Active Directory, Networking, TCP-IP, Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint

We have been asked to assist in the recruitment of an enthusiastic and driven Service Desk Technician to join an initial 3 month extension. There will be a good chance of extension and / or possibility of a permanent position longer term.

Essential:

*Operating Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktops, especially software installation

*Operating on Windows Server, basic logging in /out and simple checking

*Office365 - managing Mailboxes and users

*Active Directory - simple account creation/deletion/group maintenance

*Operating System & Application deployment

*Following processes and tasks both accurately and consistently

*Providing remote support, often by phone over low bandwidth connection

*Experience of being part of a customer focussed team

*A strong customer service/support background

*Experience supporting in a Wintel environment

Desirable:

*ITIL Foundation/Knowledge

*Knowledge of or experience supporting Digital Camera's

*Supporting remote working on low bandwidth connection

*Stock control systems

*Basic server technologies such as DNS, DHCP, IIS

*Understanding of image/application deployment
