Enigma People Solutions is looking for a Principle Digital Design Engineer to join our Plymouth based client, who is at the forefront of semiconductor IP design. Our client is looking for savvy technical leaders eager to work on compelling embedded subsystem IP solutions for Process, Voltage & Temperature (PVT) monitoring, targeting advanced node CMOS technologies.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical lead on a range of engineering projects from a digital perspective.
Draft and ratify block requirement specifications.
Lead peer review process and act as a driver for quality assurance within engineering.
Assist engineering management with project planning and feedback on technical status of projects.
Communicate directly with customer where technical input is required.
Design and simulate circuits to agreed requirement specifications.
Create appropriate documentation to support designs (For example; Design Report)
Liaise with other technical staff to facilitate best possible engineering solutions.
Provide mentoring of junior engineering staff as required.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years experience of providing people and technical leadership for engineering design projects, specify, architect, design, simulate, and verify IC circuits, blocks, or full chips.
Bachelors, Masters, PhD or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Previous technical lead experience in a similar role.
A background working on Digital Design for ASICs.
A good working knowledge of ASIC digital physical implementation flow, from design specification to RTL coding, synthesis and verification.
Strong RTL coding ,ideally Verilog-based.
Great communication skills, a real team focus, with a passion for collaborative team work.
