Dementia devastates lives. By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won't win. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society will be here for anyone affected by dementia - wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Everything we do is informed and inspired by them.

We are the UK's leading dementia charity. Every day, we work tirelessly to find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia. We provide expert information, training, and support services to all those who need our help. And we are creating a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.

About the role

The Business Engagement Manager will deliver the Business Engagement function of the Information Technology department and is an important influencer in how the Society delivers new technology. The post holder will engage with the Society to deliver strategically important projects that further our objectives in accordance with our new strategy, ‘the New Deal on Dementia' as well as manage delivery of the IT business analyst, testing and resource management functions. The post holder will manage the links between key stakeholders and the IT Departments' Business Solutions team whilst analysing, coordinating and scheduling strategic solutions and changes to progress the Society's technology portfolio. It is also expected that this role will liaise with the Portfolio Manager to assess and manage the scheduling and resourcing of new pieces of work.

About you

You will have a proven track record of organising; delivering and evaluating IT project work and will have excellent partnership and interpersonal skills. Able to monitor and implement business processes you will be capable of adapting the exiting processes to further the impact of the Society through it's technical project work.

Our employees work hard every day to make a true difference in people's lives. We are proud to support them with a range of benefits, recognition and many options for working agilely, all contributing to a strong work life balance.
