Up to £48,000We are currently recruiting for a Solution Architect to join our large public sector client in Coventry, developing technical solutions and maintaining the technical architecture of the business to facilitate efficient service delivery and align with the business platforms.?You'll be? responsible ?for? ?the? design and build? of? both solution and technical architectures. It'll be your job to communicate ??the? ?vision? ?for? ? services? ?to? ?developers? ?and? ?non-developers? ?alike.? ?You'll? ?thrive? ?using? ?agile? ?methods? ?and enjoy? ?working? ?with? ?departments? ?and? ?in? ?multidisciplinary? ?teams.? ?Above? ?all,? ?you'll? ?want? ?to make? ?government? ?better,? ?which? ?may? ?sometimes? ?involve? ?challenging? ?the? ?status? ?quo.Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years' experience of working as a Solutions Architect, across a wide range of architectures, technologies and programming languagesExperience of working with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into solution designs, producing clear architecture artefactsExperience of building and implementing enterprise-wide architecture principles, standards, blueprints, roadmaps and patterns, that deliver reusable solutions and business valueExperience of developing solution architecture designs in modern tools (such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io)Experience of working in an Agile / DevOps environment, designing and delivering digital services, and successfully navigating associated governance & assuranceFamiliarity with modern engineering practices - CI/CD, PaaS, cloud-native & cloud platform services (such as MS Azure, AWS, Google)Ability to lead end-to-end architecture / design reviews with other architects and technical SMEsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical detail with business stakeholders, challenging and solving any issues that may arise quickly and effectively If you feel as though you're a good fit for this role, or would like to find out more, please click apply to receive more information from our team!
