Test Engineer - Portsmouth As a Test Engineer you will proactively work with project teams delivering IT Systems to plan, author and implement test strategies. The successful candidate will work within a team of fellow professionals in a technology driven environment that offers excellent career progression. You will be exposed to a range of technologies working on a high profile, large scale MoD IT project which will involveThe team is responsible for delivery of client projects, service patching, incident resolution, security response, acceptance into service, technology upgrades, problem management, datacentre operations, automation and efficiency improvements, technical mentoring, presales input, and more.You will have experience of administering or deploying IT systems but be comfortable in the Test and Validation phase of service delivery. You will have experience of developing and authoring test scripts that are specific to IT systems and be at ease running those tests.Strong technical background with a broad range of knowledge, the tech stack is based on Microsoft Server, VMWare and a mixture of COTS and custom applications.Experience working within the test and validation phase of project delivery.Excellent written English and technical authorship.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Calm and methodical approach to problem solving.Industry standard qualifications, or equivalent knowledge, such as MCSE, MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, VCP, Degree.
