QA Tester Up to £40,000 A thriving and award winning software company in Wokingham are seeking a talented senior QA Tester to join their team.You will work very closely with developers and product owners, to ensure the quality of their highly complex software solutions and will get involved with taking ownership of testing the latest iterations alongside test planning & execution. You will be working in a tight knit team that values the role of quality assurance. Experienced in leading test activities, planning, estimating, collaborating with product owners, business analysts and developers.Highly experienced working in an Agile development environment.Experience of Quality Centre or equivalent test management tool.Experience with scripting languages such as Javascript, Perl, Python etc. (desirable).Use of accounts production, taxation and iXBRL software (desirable).Exposure to both manual and automated testing The role will include: Be an advocate for Quality throughout the development process.Exhibit a demeanor of professional pessimism to achieve the best obtainable product quality.Generating test plans, test specifications and test cases from product specifications and requirements.Investigation and analysis of problems with the test environment and applications under test.Verification of fixes and subsequent regression testing.Analysis of test results.Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data results through thorough documentation processes.Focus on the important testing and project priorities as agreed-upon by the business.
