One of my key clients in Galway are currently seeking an experienced Design Assurance Quality Engineer to join their team on an initial 12 month hourly rate contract. The company are ranked within the top 10 medical device companies around the world, and specialise in the manufacture of catheters and stents. Role: Design Assurance EngineerLocation: GalwayContract: An initial 12 month hourly rate contract Your role as a Design Assurance Engineer will be to fulfil the Quality Assurance responsibilities of the company's new product development and post market support. Responsibilities:Demonstrate and promote a commitment to improve patient safety, and customer satisfaction.Understand and comply with the company's quality, health and safety systems and regulations governing the Quality System.Interface with cross functional teams, and provide quality systems input on behalf of the quality team.Build Quality into all aspects of your work.Provide input to ongoing product development and post market commercial product activities.Provide Design Quality support in the resolution of CAPAs and regulatory changes.Complete Quality deliverables associated with the company's new product development and post market support. Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering.3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer within a medical device company.Proven communication skills.Proven ability to work as part of a team, or as an individual.Experience in Risk Management / Design Verification is desirable.
