SCADA / OT Consultant 2/3 month initial contract with view to extendsEdinburgh with Remote working

My client, a leading technology consultancy are looking for a Security Consultant to join them i an initial 2/3 month contract. Theclient are looking for an immediate start. The role will be remote based however, the succesful candidate will be required to travel to client site in Edinburgh 2-3 times per week (expenses paid).

Role Background:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist consultancy on ICS/SCADA and Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) to customer OT programs.You will be acting as a primary point of contact for customer OT Programs and project managers.You will also be accountable for establishing and providing specialist consultancy on Industrial Control Systems/Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (ICS/SCADA) and Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS).You will also support Client OT Programs with the development of high-level and low-level architecture designs, including recommended security controls, for complete IT/OT security.Assist with security testing coordination (code reviews and penetration testing) and manage execution working closely with external suppliers.There is also the expectation you will provide guidance to stakeholders on implementing suitable, cost-effective security measures throughout the development phases (Agile/DevOps)

Required Skills:My client has expressed an interest in speaking with candidates with one or more Information Security Certifications CISSPCISMCCSPSCCPEthical hackingA broad knowledge of IT Security including; Networks, Architecture and Cloud based security is also essential.Solid knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems / Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) as well as Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) is also of interest.A working knowledge of international regulatory and compliance frameworks would also be beneficial as well as an understanding of framework implementation and architecture design compliant with IEC62443.Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo basic background checks prior to joining
