Senior BI Developer up too £50,000 + BonusWolverhampton Business intelligence / BI / SQL / SQL Server / Data warehouse / ETL / Reporting / SSAS / SSRS / SSISExperis IT are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join one of our key Financial Services clients based in Wolverhampton.The key purpose of the role will be to work within the BI systems and Reporting team to enhance the SQL Data Warehouse and BI Systems, which holds key data from the core servicing platforms for the entire range of the Group's portfolios. The role will focus on regulatory reporting, ensuring the data for existing and new regulatory requirements are integrated into the data warehouse and the reports are generated directly from the warehouse.To maintain and develop the SQL code which provides the Data Warehouse facility, enabling delivery of all the Group's reporting and analysisDevelop a good understanding of Group's core IT servicing platforms and portfolios in order to build a Data Warehouse to ringfence regulatory reporting.Document the entire Data Warehouse process, including the ETL processes, SQL procedures and database tables.Responsibility for testing new SQL codeWork closely with the DW & Reporting Manager to ensure the Data Warehouse build is able to meet the analytical and reporting requirements of the business SkillsExpert knowledge of Microsoft SQL development softwareLogical and systematic approach to problem solving and system designThe ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a teamStrong mathematical and programming backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications and experienceMicrosoft SQL development software (2-3 Years)Development and Data Warehouse designStrong mathematicalProgramming background.
