Software developer / Full stack developer / Automotive / Finance / North West London / Permanent

My client, a leading independent finance provider are currently recruiting for an experienced software developer to join them in their North West London based office on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and ambitious professional. You will work closely with the Tech Lead/project manager and users within the business in order to further develop and implement required software solutions.

The role:

*Developing specifications through dialog with system users

*Development of Automation software for data capture

*Significant back end, middle ware and front-end coding

*Developing systems for Reporting from Salesforce and MS SQL Databases

*Writing test scripts

*Writing batch scripts for overnight tasks

*Learning and incorporating 3rd party systems and APIs

*Collaborating with other team members

*Presenting and training users on the new systems

*Dealing with bugs and feedback

Candidate requirements:

*Minimum 4 year's commercial full stack software development

*Advanced software development skills in either C Sharp or Java as well as SQL, CSS and JavaScript

*Experience producing specs and dealing with stakeholders

*Track record of delivering projects on time and according to spec

*Logical, clear approach to software development

*Source control experience

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong mathematics is an advantage

*Ability to prioritise workloads

*Show initiative and ability to drive projects forward
