Experienced C# .Net Developer - West Midlands

Salary: Up to £45,000 dependant on experience

C# / ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Web API / JavaScript / AJAX / jQuery / SQL (including T-SQL) XML / VB.NET / Windows Forms (winforms).

My client is looking for an experienced, passionate, enthusiastic and technically gifted C# / .NET developer, who has an excellent understanding of developing software on the Microsoft Platform using technology such as; ASP.NET, Windows Forms, C#, MVC and SQL Server.

The role will include developing their next-gen business management platforms, while supporting the existing platforms of their extensive client base and will require excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. As well as good communication skills and a proven track record of working to tight deadlines and problem solving.

Working Hours 9am - 5pm

Essential Skills:

*Excellent communication and time-management skills

*C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API and SQL(including T-SQL)

*JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, XML

Essential Criteria:

*Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related Field OR proven .NET C# development experience

*Experience developing software on the Microsoft Platform (ASP.NET or Windows forms, C#, SQL server) in a multi-tired architecture

*Experience with GIT source control

*Experience deploying and managing applications on windows server (setup, configuration, and troubleshooting)

Job Role (including but not limited to):

*Architect, design and develop components for next-generation management software

*Liase with suppliers and API's to incorporate their platform with other systems and tools

*Work in a fast moving environment to drive initiatives and improve quality of software development

*Support junior developers and the technical support team to help improve their skills

*Maintain existing platforms by solving problems flagged by the technical support team

*Work alongside other developers to review code and eliminate potential problems before the code is released, as well as testing and reviewing fixes and new features

*Assist in testing new application releases

*Write and maintain development documentation for reference.
