We are looking to hire a Data Engineer to join one of the largest consultancies in the country.Their data function has expanded within their client portfolio, broadening their deliverables within D&A into Data Science & Data Engineering.As they continue to help & collaborate with their clients in Financial Services, we take on a more comprehensive responsibility of taking data analytics beyond traditional levels. We are seeking exceptional talent to join this business on a permanent basis.Essential Skills/experience: Python / Spark / SQLAWS Cloud Platform& technologiesApache Airflow & similar orchestration systemsEMR, Hadoop, HIVE and similar big data technologiesLinux developmentNoSQL databases (Dynamo, Elastic search)Kinesis, Kafka and real-time data processingAWS certifiedKey ResponsibilitiesWill be responsible for creating databases optimized for performance, implementing schema changes, and maintaining data architecture standards across all of the business's databases. Data Engineer plays an analytical role where he performs ad-hoc analyses of data stored in the business's MySQL/MS SQL databases and writes SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and views.
