S2 Recruitment are looking to speak to commercially knowledgeable Java Developers who are looking for a new opportunity in the Wrexham area. Our client, a global leader within the software and service industry, are searching for a commercial and ambitious candidate to join their in house technology team. As an influential organisation whose reach affects all corners of the globe, this organisation strive to recruit the most ambitious and forward thinking candidates who will drive the business in conjunction with the ever evolving technological functions. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the continual improvement and support of a number of software products which are implemented across the globe. Parallel to this, you will must be capable of creative technical solutions to complex coding issues which will allow you to address any issues which may arise throughout the global client base. This role will offer a genuinely varied workload in which no day will be the same! 

This role is offering a basic salary up to £30,000 with the opportunity to progress into a senior vacancy. In addition to the basic package, you will have the opportunity to visit client sites across the globe to support client requirements. Also, you will be joining a renown 'Investor In People' who provide continual training and development opportunities through industry events and external courses. 

Key Responsibilities: 

-  Planning, coding, testing and delivering software projects 

-  Achieving and improving upon customer SLA's 

-  Ensure that best industry practises are implemented throughout the software team 

-  Managing and implementing the changes required to create software customisation to support client requirements 

-  Willing to continue to learn and build upon professional/technical knowledge in order to progress and gain more responsibilities across the software team

- Detailing and implementing technical solutions to address customer issues
