Contract, Embedded Software Engineer, 6 Months, £40-£42, West Yorkshire, Embedded C, RTOS, Wireless

A client of mine who are based in West Yorkshire are currently looking to bring on an Embedded Engineer on a 6 month contract to work on one of their flagship IOT products.

You will be developing new features and enhancing and improving existing ones as they seek to get the next generation out.

This role would suit an Embedded Engineer from a wireless/IOT background. You will be developing in Embedded C on an RTOS on an ARM Cortex. They are looking for somebody who has ideally worked on low power wireless devices but any wireless experience would be considered. The bulk of the programming would be in LoRa but experience such as Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, SIGFOX would all be considered.

The necessary skills you will have:

*Extensive experience of using Embedded C Prior experience of working on commercial RTOS An in-depth knowledge of working on IOT/low powered wireless devices.

The client are offering a rate of £40-£42 per hour for an initial 6 months, however the planned life-cycle for this project is much longer so extensions are likely. If this sounds like the sort of project and role you would like to be involved with, please apply to this advert and I will be in touch with more information.
