The purpose of this role is to manage Estates Management Project, as part of a 3 year Housing All Under One Roof Programme that will result in a significant change in the way housing services are delivered to customers, with a new and improved customer experience underpinned by streamlined business processes. This supports my client ambitions as part of the Future Town, Future programme.
This involves leading and managing projects which will implement the new Estates Management Strategy and change the way people in the Housing service work. In managing the projects you will need to manage the budget, resources and risks and ensure that the benefits delivery can be tracked. Ensure stakeholders are engaged, understand and input to review of business process. This will involve working both closely with managers and business leads and across departmental boundaries, developing strong relationships with services across my client and with external organisations.
This role is key to successfully transforming housing services and will need to be a positive, energetic and innovative manager with strong inter-personal skills and a track record of successful project delivery in Estate Management.
a.Project manage a series of complex projects concurrently. Carry out tasks including:
i.Project planning
ii.Implementation of project
iii.Evidencing value for money and commercial benefits
iv.Improving collaborative working
v.Engagement and communication with stakeholders
vi.Organise staff and resources
vii.Documentation and reports
viii.Managing project budgets
b.Carry out business analysis either as part of a project or as standalone work. Tasks including:
i.Specification gathering
ii.Process mapping
iii.Process re-engineering
iv.Analysis of service performance and usage
v.Identifying key issues in contracts
vi.Identifying customer journey improvements
vii.Identifying savings
c.Develop and manage relationships with colleagues and stakeholders:
i.Facilitate workshops
ii.Resident meetings and consultations with Leaseholders
iii.Dealing with challenging customers
iv.Handle sensitive information appropriately
v.Understanding and use of stakeholder analysis
vi.Negotiate successful outcomes
