Role: Digital Asset Management (DAM) Administrator
Duration: 6 Months

Main Responsibilities:Responsible for the daily management of content on the platforms, including assigning metadata and keywords, uploading/archiving content, folder and file management, and troubleshootingPerform recurring audits of system assets, their metadata, and the surrounding workflows as they intersect with the DAM Repository as a way to track metadata accuracy, compliance with tagging workflow and strategy, and asset life cycle behaviorsMaintain user guides and best practices while maintaining governance models, procedures, policies and change rationale for the metadata, taxonomy and controlled vocabulariesRegister and train internal and external usersRegularly review the quality of search results to meet customer, vendor and partner demand for asset accessAct as an escalation point for all metadata issuesProvide training and ongoing support on DAM functionality and best practices in order to meet business goals and objectivesEstablish priorities for enhancement within the user communityOversee the communication and socialization of DAM system capabilities and best practices for asset upload, use and archivingIdentify, plan, and deliver a wide range of tasks and operational methods surrounding digital assets, including digital asset identification, audits and reporting, trouble-shooting, end user training, metadata manipulation and updating, search and retrieval, and archiving.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:3-5 years of experience as point person for a DAM system, preferably within a marketing department
Education: Degree such as Library Science (MLIS), related degree, or commensurate experience
Skills:Firm knowledge of metadata and taxonomy application for system navigation, content search and retrievalUnderstanding of multiple digital file formats, and knowledge of workflow management systemsExcellent soft skills including planning, communications, and meeting facilitationA working knowledge of rights management proceduresStrong time management and organizational skills, with the proven ability to prioritise a large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlinesEvidence of strong communication skills and ability to build good customer relationships with stakeholders, influencers and technical team membersMust have proficiency in Adobe Creative SuitePrevious project management experience a plusMust be knowledgeable on scaling DAM systems, workflow improvement and user adoption strategies
