We were founded over 20 years ago and have been growing rapidly ever since, so we are therefore looking to appoint a talented Google Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Immersing yourself as a key member on the team, you will be collaborating with and supporting our sales team in the pre-sales process from a technical perspective, you will also be defining solutions for current and future customers. This role will include you developing proof of concepts, identifying then executing solutions and also conducting technical audits of existing architectures.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…

* System design experience

* Understanding and experience with Cloud architectures (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)

* In-depth knowledge of database and data warehouse technologies from Microsoft, Amazon and or Google

* Redshift/ BigQuery/ Snowflake/ Teradata

* Java and Python

* SQL

* Ability to travel and work across North America

ITS NICE TO HAVE…

* Experience architecting Big Data platforms (Apache Hadoop, Cloudera, Hortonworks)

* Real-time Hadoop query engines (Dremel, Cloudera Impala, Facebook Presto)

* Jenkins/ Artifactory/ Maven

* Architect certifications

* Experience working as/with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists
