Director EMEA Market Analysis - Canary Wharf - Competitive SalaryA Global Blue-Chip Software Company are currently recruiting for a Director of EMEA Market Analysis to join their Capital Markets Insight Group which provides news, data and analysis via print and websites to capital market participants to help them make informed decisions on transactions and strategies. They are looking for a senior analyst to work under their Loan Pricing Corporation to utilise their unique loan market data community relationships to produce useful data and statistics, insightful analysis and forward-looking market commentary. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and drive critical insights from qualitative quantitative research to deliver value-added content to our customers.Role Responsibilities:Regularly create and publish required analysis and commentary, as well as surveys and ad hoc reports, for the European loan market.Promote the company products and brand through public speaking and publishing loan-related analysis.Work with our strategy, sales, product and content teams to identify, prioritise and capitalise upon new sales and business development opportunities.Support and build strong relationships with clients in order to help drive sales, and to ensure that we proactively understand market trends and that we are meeting their needs with our offerings.Respond to client queries regarding data, analysis and products and provide high-level support to users.Guide and support data analysts to source critical data, including prioritisation of markets and sources, evaluating data quality and facilitate development of new market relationships.Continuously seek to improve on internal research tools, processes and production environments.Qualifications and Experience Required:Strong analytical capabilities are a priority. This includes demonstrable expertise with Excel/Access, excellent written communication skills and an organised approach to projects and communications.An understanding of contractual loan terms and how to find and interpret them is critical.At least three years of experience producing analysis and commentary for syndicated loans, CLOs, and/or high yield bonds.Excellent communication and writing skills are required.Strong interpersonal and team management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across teams from sales, product management and editorial.Excellent networking skills and initiative are critical. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of contacts on the buy side and sell side in the syndicated loan market.Knowledge of LPC's products and services, and a general understanding of loan information providers and the existing information sources/products available to loan market participants is helpful.If you are interested in this position, please apply below or email your CV !
