Job Title: Storage SME/Architect with Dell Isilon/Unity & VNX technologies within an HPC environment. Understanding of Deterministic latency troubleshooting and traffic flow optimisationIn depth understanding of InfiniBand connected Storage systemsProven experience supporting Dell technologies in a file-based setup.This will require close engagement with the end client, partners and application teams to leverage a standardised design for deployment within new premises What you'll bring: Demonstratable troubleshooting skills in InfiniBand storage systemsKnowledge of predictive failure information extraction methodsExperience with automation techniques to reduce management overhead and improve service levelsUnderstanding to produce multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in an Enterprise environmentExperience with application and infrastructure management and monitoring toolsExperience with executing quick technical feasibility and proposal development for deploying and troubleshooting identified workloadsPreference will be given to applicants with specific hardware knowledgeUnderstanding of security identifiers, resource identifiers, subsystem identifiers, ACLs, and detailed security auditing and alarmsKnowledge of Nagios/Thruk monitoring toolsAbility to interpret and recommend approaches for vendor lifecycle managementGood working knowledge of processes and procedures (like ITIL) and ability to provide clear instructions for the creation of knowledge-based articlesExcellent English communication capabilities, both written and verbal Additional skills: Exposure and understanding-automated build pipeline, continuous integration and continuous deploymentHuawei HPC infrastructure based on E9000 servers/platform Travel will be limited for this role, only 2 trips will be required to Sweden which will be 2-3 days long.
