Junior Network Engineer - London, West EndCCNA Qualification Minimum with a CCNP or JNCIA qualification highly desirable. Network Operations, Routing & Switching with switches, routers, hubs, servers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, ONT, UDP, IPT VoIP, QoS, MPLS, QinQ, Assist with Business as Usual activities to support day to day network operations in an ISP environment, Huawei, Cisco, Juniper and/or HP Routers, Switches and Hubs over GPON and P2P Networks.£30,000pa to £34,000pa DoE + BenefitsLondon - Office Based - 9am till 5:30pm Monday to FridayThis dynamic and growing network services provider are seeking professional, career minded and focused Junior Network Engineer to be based at their HQ in London.You will need to ambitious, have energy and commitment in abundance and be looking to progress to the next stage in your career with a fast-paced Network and Communications organisation. You will play an active part in the full project lifecycle, initially providing input and assistance for low level design (LLD) and configuration, as well as BAU Operational Support in a full multi-vendor environment which involve routers and switches.This scope of the role means you will be working on multiple technologies, and your learning and development will increase in a short amount of time.This is a high tempo role, and this client will happily consider candidates from a Network Operations background who are looking to gain more project exposure in a busy ISP.Any experience in Network Automation or coding would also be beneficial, but not essential.With a solid background in Networking, the experience or knowledge you have gained so far will include:Network operations, including, hands on experience with switches, routers, hubs, servers, firewalls, wireless, TCP/IP, ONT,UDP, IPT VoIP, QoS, MPLS, QinQAssist with Business as Usual activities to support day to day network operations in an ISP environment.Experience working in full project lifecycles.CCNA Qualification Minimum with a CCNP or JNCIA qualification highly desirable.Able to work in a high tempo environment, with autonomyCapability to create network diagrams, SOWs, HLD, LLDs skills desirable.Able to interact with other members of the Business on joint projectsExcellent communication skills neededCreating and/or updating case notes on service incident ticketsKnowledge of Business IT, i.e. home networks, servers, email, Wi-Fi access points, Ethernet over power lines etc.You will ensure an interview if you have previous experience working in "Hybrid, Multi-Vendor Network environments" utilising products such as Huawei, Cisco, Juniper and/or HP Routers, Switches and Hubs over GPON and P2P NetworksTake this opportunity to rise above your peers and secure a role to elevate your networks career.
