This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Test Development Engineer who is looking for a good mix of test responsibilities as well as development.

My client is a start up company based in Edinburgh working on cell technologies that will improve our low carbon electric future. They're searching for a talented engineer who will be able to join the company working in both a test capacity and a development capacity. This is a one-off opportunity to join a start up company whilst they are relatively small and become a part of the core team; they are growing at a healthy rate now so this is a fantastic time to join them. The ideal candidate will have experience within the following areas:

Embedded Software and C programmingPython scriptingTest AutomationSoftware design and developmentAn appreciation for Hardware and Electronics

Ideally you will have a minimum for two years working experience or you will be a graduate with excellent academics and internship experience. You will need to be flexible in terms of your skill set and focus, picking up projects in both software development and software test.
