Data Engineer / Software Developer (Node.js API Web Sockets Microservices Big Data). Would you like to utilise and develop your Data Engineer skills within an exciting start-up in the cryptocurrency space? As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for implementing data collection services in the company's microservices architecture, researching data warehouse and data ingestion solutions for the big data sets and helping to deliver API's to the data science team and clients. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a challenging and varied role with a number of interesting projects in the pipeline including work around blockchain analytics, data services for financial products and market data services.

Requirements:

*Backend Node.js experience and knowledge of any OO programming language

*Experience with big data solutions or handling large datasets

*Excellent communication skills

*Desirable: RESTful API, Web Sockets, Microservices, Linux, Postgres, Redis
