Role DescriptionProgramming experience is not essential but preferred, experience of Java, API and Graph QL in particular would be welcomed. As a member of the Automation Team within Graph QL team, you'll help deliver, maintain and support reliable automated components which form the backbone of our test and release process SkillsWork with developers to perform Impact analysis of GraphQL API changes for releaseProvide realistic efforts for automation per releasePerform review of changes for automation viabilityDesign and build automated tests to validate GraphQL changes using Karate frameworkBuild regression suite into pipeline to be executed per releaseExecution of automated testsMaintenance of automated testsWork with wider Automation Test Team to articulate impact of each GraphQL release on consumer regression suitesRaise, monitor and close out defects raised as a result of automation runsReport test coverage and success per release Your skillsHands-on experience of GraphQL API testingExperience of using Karate FrameworkJava programming development experience preferredKnowledge and understanding of testing principlesAbility to structure and develop tests, using BDD and cucumberAbility to debug and triage defectsUnderstanding of Agile principles and Scrum processAbility to own and drive quality throughout the automation processSuitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance
