A leading Semiconductor producer of automotive power management applications is looking for a Analog Mixed Signal Technical Lead to drive new developments of power management for next generation hybrid electric engines in alignment with the EU 2030 goal of eliminating combustion engines from our streets.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an innovative and driven Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer with Technical Leadership experience and a creative mind to technically rethink the internal architecture of a car and drive development to adjust battery management in maximising the use of electric energy across the entire automotive system so that hybrid electric engines can be realised.

In your new role you will technically lead and coordinate IC developments and challenge the development of Analog Mixed Signal IC concepts in close cooperation with concept, physical design, lab, test and quality engineers across different sites in Europe. You will be responsible for the detailed definition, implementation and verification of Analog Mixed Signal IC's, especially DC-DC converters and support IC validation. As the successful Technical Lead, you are industry degree qualified, inspired and enthusiastic about innovation with a good overview of the entire design cycle of a complex power management IC's who can take ownership of product development and structure and solve complex tasks for others.

You are best equipped for this task if you have 6+ years of experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design and Verification (Cadence tools) in power management, preferably DC-DC or buck-boost converters, from within the automotive or industrial sector. You understand HV CMOS and BCD technologies and have led at least 1-2 project of high complexity to production. An understanding of ISO26262 standards and requirement-driven design flows is essential. You should have basic knowledge in ESD and EMC requirements and be fluent in English.
