£45,000 - £47,000 + perm benefits

A global leading organisation based in west London is currently recruiting for a PMO Analyst to be responsible for gathering and analysing project delivery data from the various portfolios of projects. As the PMO you will be involved in facilitating the development and management of an optimised portfolio, the creation and maintenance of a portfolio delivery plan and effective management of portfolio level risks. As required, the PMO Analyst will provide support and advice to projects to help ensure their successful delivery.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

*Support the execution of the my clients prioritisation process across all business teams and the continuous review and maintenance of the prioritised change portfolio

*Consolidate all programme & project data into a prioritised change portfolio database - responsible for accuracy, timeliness of updates and reporting of the portfolio to relevant stakeholders

*Execute the portfolio delivery framework, including setting up and running oversight meetings, preparing inputs and circulating outputs from agreed governance forums

*Work with business owners, Group IT suppliers and other stakeholders to identify demand prioritisation issues and conflicts, with escalation to achieve resolution

*Support regular review and assessment of the portfolio to ensure it reflects the dynamic business environment and is correctly prioritised to meet business requirements, developing and managing regular reporting to Group Executive

*Gather data from portfolios and aggregate all programmes and projects into the relevant portfolio management reports to provide meaningful insights to Group Executive

*Identify improvements to the portfolio management process and support the management and implementation of process updates

*Monitor adherence to the portfolio management framework and governance model

*Identify risks and issues aligned to the portfolio and ensure these are recorded, tracked, monitored and communicated appropriately

*Support stakeholder management (including business owners and suppliers) to ensure the portfolio is defined, agreed, communicated and implemented in line with stakeholder expectations

*Provide expert advice and guidance to project managers, programme managers and accountable executives based on the project management methodology (standards, stages, project sizing and the relationship between projects, programmes, portfolio).

*Drive satisfaction with Portfolio Management processes through demonstrating effective and efficient service, influencing stakeholder perceptions of Enterprise Change.

*Manage and support governance meetings, including scheduling, record-keeping, issuing materials, etc.

Essential

*Experience of working within a Portfolio Management Office

*A sound understanding of Change methodologies including Waterfall and Agile

*Experience of project management tools and techniques

*A proven ability to implement and continuously improve change processes

*Proficient in data analysis to identify root causes of business problems and to propose appropriate solutions

*Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities to ensure that stakeholder requirements are met
