The Senior SAP Basis Support Consultant Role:

The Senior SAP Basis Support Consultant is responsible for delivering Technical Basis Services per the contractual agreements with customers. They provide SAP technical support to the current ERP and Business Analytics install base (circa 300 customers) as well as providing technical support to the internal AMS and consulting teams. In this role, the consultant is responsible for delivering high customer satisfaction to all customers. As a senior consultant they are expected to act as mentor and knowledge base for the SAP Basis team.

Required Knowledge:

+ SAP Technical Knowledge
+ NWA Administration
+ SAP Enterpise Administration
+ Database administration (SAP Hana , SQL, Oracle, DB2 , SAPDB (MaxDB) )
+ Operating system administration ( Windows , Unix/AIX )
+ Solution Manager system landscape configuration 
+ SAP Security and Authorisations 

Experience

+ Experienced SAP Technical support and/or field consultant with a proven track record
+ Experience across multiple industries, multiple platforms
+ Experience across multiple SAP versions ( R/3 , ECC , NW )
+ Experience across multiple SAP landscapes ( ECC , PI, BI , BI-Java , CRM , SCM , HR , Enterprise Portals , Hana )
+ System support (client or consulting) experience
+ Experience of call logging systems
+ Experience of using Solution Manager for landscape configuration and maintenance optimizer
+ Experience of SAP Security and Authorisations 

Education

+ Degree or equivalent required.
+ SAP relevant support certifications attained, specifically BOSUP, HANASUP

Reporting

+ Position reports to UK Technical Support Manager
+ Position has no direct reports 

Schedule: 

+ Position is full-time
+ Location / Travel 
+ Position works from Glasgow Support Office or work remotely from home
