Control Systems Engineer, Deeside, 6 month, £40-45hr (MATLAB/SIMULINK) My client, a major engineering firm in Deeside, are looking to bring on a strong control systems engineer to work on New Product Introduction (NPI) on various programmes surrounding electromechanical actuation systems within the aerospace industry. The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for the generation and maintenance of detailed mathematical models of electromechanical actuation systems using MATLAB and SIMULINK tools. Due to the nature of the role, SC clearance is a must. Required Skills:Have a thorough understanding of classical control theory, in particular the design and implementation of PID controllers from first principles.Knowledge of Control Systems Design in State Space, Control by Optimisation and experience in Design of Control Systems with Observers.Experience in using MatLab/Simulink.Experience using PWM techniques.SC clearanceDesired Skills:Qualified to degree level in one or more of the following disciplines Control Systems, Mathematics, Physics with a proven ability of Model-Based-Design.
