App Development Manager - Financial Services

We are currently in the market for an experienced Application Development Manager to undertake an interesting role with a leading Financial Services business based in Central London (EC4). This role would suit someone who ideally comes from a technical background and has strong experience in Agile Software delivery and releases, as well as an appetite for mentoring more junior members of staff and generally maturing technical functions. Collaborating with Business Analysis, Testing, Project Management and wider Technology, this challenging role provides an excellent opportunity to achieve career progression in a forward-thinking environment.

Application Development Manager Requirements

* Experience of leading medium sized technical teams

* Strong people management skills and experience - objective setting, 1 to 1s, coaching, training, etc

* Proven Agile delivery skills to agreed timescales, ideally meeting budget and quality criteria

* Ideally with experience of working in DevOps, Automation and CI / CD type environments.

* Proven stakeholder management skills and experience

* Knowledge of the Crest Application and the SSE would be advantageous

* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills along with a collaborative management style

* Self-motivation and self-management are required for this role, along with the ability to think and act pro-actively.

* Experience of working within Financial Services is preferred but not essential.
