Geotechnical Engineer role on offer with a large and rapidly growing company offering a rare and exciting chance for a new graduate to gain entry into the offshore oil & gas industry. Do you hold a degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering? Do you have knowledge of handling Geotechnical data?
This well-established company specialises in providing offshore marine surveying services for the oil, gas and wind-turbine industries. They are entering a new phase of expansion and are looking to out-perform the competition by commissioning new surveying vessels and taking on new, talented individuals.
In this role you will be interpreting, collating and presenting geotechnical data and carrying out soil and rock tests. You will be expected carry out tests and reports in the onshore labs. The company will provide full industry training to make you an expert in the industry of offshore marine surveying.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Geotechnical Engineering and have experience handling geotechnical data from offshore instruments.
* Graduate Geotechnical Engineer * Office-based in Great Yarmouth. * Collecting and reporting data * £22,000 - £26,000 (Realistic earnings £34,000) + Full Training + Progression + Private Medical + 30 Days Holiday
* Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering * Able to handle Geotechnical Data * Willing to learn and receive full training * Prior experience or knowledge of the offshore industry desirable but not essential
