A Univerisity I am working with are undertaking a major strategic project to replace their current student information system with a new commercial product.As part of the software and technical development work, they are in need for a technical delivery consultant/coach to work with the programmes technical team to guide the implementation of the necessary tools and processes. This will include:Requirements definition and managementTechnology standards and architecture definition and management Project/Work package planningDevelopment methodology - product delivery, tracking and governanceProduct quality assurance and testingConfiguration and release managementSoftware vendor interaction/relationship managementThe responsibilities to be considered include:Establishing working practices for a technical team developing software for data migrations, system reports, and complex system integrationsTechnical implementation of large corporate applications and transitioning systems into operations;Project delivery methodologies using appropriate aspects of Agile and WaterfallHybrid cloud and on-premises architectures for system and data managementThe experience you will need include:Delivery Manager for software development programmeTechnical Lead for digital transformation programmeAgile Development Coach/Project ManagerData Integration/Migration Programme ManagerSoftware DevOps ManagerExperience in the Higher Education sector is desirable not essential, but proof of delivery within other sectors will be considered strongly.If you are interested in this opportunity then please reply to this advert and I will contact you to discuss further.
