Information Security Manager - ISO27001, CISSP, CISM, CCSP - Nottingham / Perm

Spring Technology is currently working on behalf of a construction company to recruit a Information Security Manager. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a company wide information security, data privacy and IT risk management systems to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. It is expected that this role will contribute to other risk and audit initiatives across the whole company.

Requirements:

*Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive information security and IT risk management framework to ensure that the integrity, confidentiality and availability of company information are maintained.

*Ensure the company complies with all applicable data privacy and protection laws across the UK and Europe including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and proposed ePrivacy Regulation.

*Advocate and build a culture where Staff see cyber security a core part of how they operate.

Must have:

*Experience and understanding of ISO27001/2 information security standards, a good working knowledge of security, privacy, legal and regulatory requirements.

*Proven track record and experience in development and adoption of information security policies and procedures.

*Experience in managing organisation wide GDPR compliance.

*A degree or equivalent qualification or experience and evidence of continual professional development.

*Desirable Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
