Procurement Specialist (CIPS Qualified)We are actively looking to secure a Procurement Specialist to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.Experis Consultancy is a Global entity with a well-established team with over 1000 consultants on assignment across 20 clients globally. We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Purpose of the RoleProvision of a professional procurement service including stakeholder engagement, tender management and commercial negotiation for the supply of good and services to the business.Experience of systems and IT related services procurement is an advantage.At all times ensuring that value for money is achieved.Ensure all procurements take into consideration financial, environmental, health and safety and ethical policies and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the relevant key stakeholders across the business to develop category/project specific sourcing strategies. You will assess potential routes to market reviewing risks and working closely with the key stakeholders you will recommend the optimal procurement routes, having considered all key risks and issues.Interpret and assist in the development of specifications of systems from stakeholder requirements.Manage sourcing projects, ensuring that they are delivered in an efficient and effective manner.Ensure appropriate selection/award criteria has been defined in order to allow for decision making.Undertake commercial & contractual negotiations on selection of a preferred bidderPrepare tender documents in accordance with internal and external policies and regulations (e.g. Financial Regulations and public procurement legislation) ensuring operational, ethical, environmental and social requirements are consideredReview and manage purchase requisitions allocated for action to ensure they are processed in line with policy and procedures. Liaise with the requisitioner, Deputy Procurement Manager and suppliers where required to ensure the correct contractual documents are developed with the purchase order.Proactively assess and resolve procurement queries and issues related to projects or specific requisitions as required.Proactively build and maintain networks and working relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels through the use of appropriate verbal and written communications (e.g. meetings, phone, email, reports).Regularly prepare post tender reports, management information reports and savings reports.Ensure contractual documentation is stored and updated correctlyEssential Skills/ExperienceCIPS qualifiedExcellent communication skills, excellent commercial negotiation skills, ability to network with stakeholders at all levels of the businessDesirable SkillsRecent experience of managing large IT systems procurement projects, adding value at every stage of the process Interested candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
