Description You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Mobile, Cloud and Embedded developers, working alongside Design engineers to define the vision for Dyson's next generation of connected products. You will be collaborating with experts from different areas of RDD (Research, Design & Development), designing how great connectivity experiences are woven into our products. You are independent and methodical with excellent problem-solving skills and comfortable with rapidly understanding the core concepts of new technologies. You are passionate about designing great solutions with the determination to overcome problems and limitations in order to achieve Dyson's vision. Accountabilites Develop and support Cloud and data processing services for early stage user trials Design and validate new product features, often with prototype hardware Provide Cloud subject matter expertise to Mobile and Embedded developers Collaborate with other RDD teams to ensure a smooth transfer of the product design and concept into production Communicate your findings, solutions and recommendations Identify new technologies and tools to help continually improve standards Skills Excellent programming skills. Experience of Python an advantage Demonstrable experience developing Cloud solutions. Ideally using AWS including Lambda, API Gateway and Cloud Formation Experience of working with cloud/web integration technologies and services (REST, OAUTH, Message Protocols, etc...) Ability to adopt new concepts, languages and techniques quickly and then convey the benefits to others Comfortable with change - priorities, designs and solutions Strong planning & time management skills.
