Huxley engineering are currently looking for an experienced Product Data Manager for one of our key clients near Bristol.OverviewYou will be working within the department that convert Engineering bills of materials (EBOM's) into manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM's) to allow the site manufacturing order process to pick, deliver and build assemblies within the correct/relevant work cells. There is a strong chance that later this year the system they will be using will move away from MAPICS and to a SAP manufacturing system.The company are looking for someone who has the knowledge and skills to support the oncoming introduction to SAP manufacturing, due the second half of 2020. The successful candidate will initially go through our 6 month on boarding process where he/she will become an expert member of the PDM team with an understanding of how we currently operate. With this knowledge and understanding, he/she will provide support for the manufacturing engineering group from within the PDM team for the introduction of SAP.Essential SkillsSAP Understanding and Experience5 years' experience working in a production/manufacturing environmentGood/Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledgeDesired SkillsSQL or MS Access link tablesVBA ProgrammingData analysisProduction/Manufacturing EngineeringHands on Engineering (Build or Maintenance)Pay rates will be based on experience and if you would like to learn more please don't hesitate to give me a call.
