Big Data Engineer (Java SQL Kafka Cloud). Global games software house is seeking a Big Data technologist to join their team. You'll be solving challenging technical problems within a highly distributed event driven environment; working on the development of new and existing data pipelines utilising the Google Cloud Platform and making requirements into finished technical solutions using a range of modern Big Data technologies and coding in Java.

You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of Central London with breakout areas, pool table, console games, fully stocked kitchen, quiet areas and flexible working hours.

Requirements:

*Strong Java and SQL skills

*Experience with some or all of the following: Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, CDC, Dataflow, Apache Spark, Airflow, DB2, BigQuery, BigTable, MongoDB, CouchDB

*Experience of developing technology to enable the processing of large scale data

*Familiar with cloud based solutions Google Cloud Platform; AWS

*Ideally you will have experience with eCommerce or marketing
