An excellent opportunity has come up with one of the world's largest independent commercial management companies. The Group has global coverage, with offices strategically located in London, Cape Town, Congo, Japan, Singapore, Houston, New York, Orlando, Athens, Dubai, Oslo, Mumbai, Hamburg and Shanghai.The Group has consistently grown since its inception in 2007 and now has around 350 employees worldwide, with around 90 based in the London office and they are looking to continue that growth.
This is a role for an knowledgable analyst where you will examine data sets to draw conclusions utilizing specialised systems and software; support management reporting to Owners on vessel earnings and contribute to the development of the pool management business through superior, market leading, real time analytics.
The team consist of 8-10 analysts, all aged from 20 - 30, with varying knowledge of the shipping industry. Offering a competetive salary DOE.
Responsibilities ReportingPreparing monthly/quarterly vessel earning reports for existing clientsCreate new reports giving insight into the market and help Operators/Charterers/ Management make important decisionsRedesigning reports improving efficiency and functionality
Interaction with current/prospective clients
Evaluating prospective pool vesselsCreate investment opportunity proposals including rate projectionsCreate/update/maintain presentations for prospective InvestorsAssist in relationship maintenance by interacting with Investors/Partners/Ship Owners
Databases/BI SoftwareKeeping databases/dashboards up to dateCreating new dashboards providing important insight into Navig8 Group performanceVisualising information through Business Intelligence SoftwareCompiling competitor/benchmark results and analyse earning releases
