Clinical Informatics Specialist 65K - 100K + Shares and great benefits Perm, full time Oxford You will be joining a very exciting and one of a kind organisation who can't wait to meet professional, free thinking individuals like you! You are the expert in managing and interrogating patient level data, being part of a fast growing and fast-paced team utilising clinical and biological data across many therapy areas within healthcare. .The client receives anonymous data that needs integrating into research programmes to join cross-disciplinary team of experts in machine learning. This role is extremely valuable as you will be building an understanding across internal/external divisions in order to understand patient subgroups and drug-able disease mechanisms using clinical data.Responsibilities:Assist in design and lead interpretation of resultsAdd to the incorporation of clinical data into drug target discovery and validationMentor the identification and acquisition of new sources of clinical data.Be part of the existing external collaborations and build new relationships..Apply your knowledge of information governance to ensure compliance in ingestion and analysis work flows.Requirements:Advanced degree in health informatics, epidemiology or a related disciplineExperience in querying heterogeneous data bases using tools such as SQLKnowledge of health informatics applied to healthcare systems such as the NHSDeep experience in handling and analysing clinical data from at least two of the following: electronic health records, clinical trial patient data, epidemiological longitudinal observational data.Experience in handling and analysing longitudinal discrete and continuous data at the individual patient level.Exceptional skills in the analysis of longitudinal, high dimensional clinical data.Able to communicate commercially and within expert settingsA self-starter and comfortable working in a start-upICD or SNOMED coding To find out more about Real please visit www.realstaffing.comReal Staffing, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy| Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
