Technical Process Engineer

Andover, Hampshire

£35,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Holiday + Benefits + ProgressionExcellent opportunity for someone from an engineering/ production/ manufacturing background experienced with lean manufacturing methods and six sigma to join a fast growing company that offers excellent benefits and the opportunity to progress in the future.This company is a market leader in manufacturing bespoke LED systems used within laboratories. Due to continued growth and the aim to constantly improve and develop their internal processes they are looking to add a forward thinking engineer to their team.In this role you will be part of the Production engineering team, implementing and developing new test systems for new and existing products that the company develops. You will be given the ability to make large changes to improve the manufacturing process and will be expected to fully implement lean manufacturing processes.The ideal candidate will be six sigma qualified to either green or black level and also have experience with lean manufacturing methods, such as Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), or line balancing. You will also have a good engineering background in a production, manufacturing industry, ideally automation. Any previous experience with light electrical manufacturing would be beneficial but not required.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that have expanded by over 20% year on year in an exciting and varied role that can provide the next step in your career and bridge the gap to more senior roles in the future.The Role:

*Monday - Friday, 40 hour week

*Part of the production engineering team

*Implement and develop test systems

*Improve manufacturing process using lean manufacturing methodsThe Person:

*Six sigma qualified (green or black belt)

*Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods

*Engineering background within a production or manufacturing industry

*Ideally has experience in automation processes

*Any previous experience in light electrical manufacturing would be beneficial but not required
