Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead (Java 8 CI/CD microservices). Are you a senior Java Developer looking to make the move to a technical leadership role whilst remaining hands-on with the code?

You could be joining a global games software house to guide a cross functional team of software developers and QAs across the full development lifecycle of n-tier Java applications.

Partnering closely with the Technical Architect as a Senior Java Developer you'll be responsible for the production of high quality, maintainable code; participating in code reviews and investigating live issues with the emphasis on driving best practice and CI/CD.

The company is a technical innovator; you'll be solving challenging technical problems within distributed environments using modern practices and driving continuous improvement of the team through setting standards and demonstrating best practice.

You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of Central London with breakout areas, pool table, console games, fully stocked kitchen, quiet areas and flexible working hours.

Requirements:

*You have a strong core Java design and development experience

*You have some experience of leading the technical direction of a team or project

*You're an advocate of Agile development methodologies and tools: Scrum, TDD, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Sonar

*You're familiar with automation testing practices

*You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
