Are you an experienced business focused IT project manager with a track record of delivering web/e-commerce and CRM? This leading UK training provider is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Manager with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This senior PM role offers the chance to manage a portfolio of projects, focusing initially on web and CRM initiatives. Working with a large and diverse set of internal business and IT stakeholders you should be able to manage resources, budgets and deliverables across a complex programme of work

Ideally, you should have worked as an Agile project manager on large www projects with some CRM experiences. This is an opportunity to develop your skills in portfolio, programme management and IT strategic planning. You will have the support and resources from a range of IT staff including business analysts, a Scrum master, architects, testers, offshore developers etc. This is a new post and the employer offers a salary up to £60k with a competitive benefits package, flexible working and career development opportunities.

Requirements

You will need the following skills and experience: -

- A proven track record of working as a hands-on project manager for customer facing web projects, ideally with e-commerce experience

- A very strong set of project management skills and pragmatic methods orientation with deep knowledge of resource management, budget management and risk/issues management

- Experience of Agile, preferably SCRUM

- Demonstrable ability to own and manage a complex programme of work and the ability to work on multiple work streams simultaneously

- A good knowledge of the SDLC, in particular, business analysis and testing

- An ability to uncover true business needs and benefits with a strong emphasis on ideation and solutions design

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

- A highly pragmatic and tailored approach to project management methods and an ability to develop working practices and standards for project management

- Highly business benefits focused

- Strong prioritisation skills

Any of the following would be an advantage, but are not essential: -

- Awareness of IT strategy development

- CRM experience for services operations, sales and marketing

- Experience of Programme management and portfolio management

- Education/Learning, Retail or Professional Services sector experience

- Prince2 Certification

Benefits

A salary is offered up to £60k plus a full and flexible benefits package including 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare, life insurance etc. The client also offers flexible working hours and the option to work at home up to 2 days per week (after satisfactory completion of probation). The post is a permanent and full-time position based in Central/North London N7.
