The Role:

As a Technical Support Analyst you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical and customer service skills by providing exceptional technical support to the company's application/products and its users. This will include writing code and providing the technical support to new and existing clients. You will be working as part of a team in a technical nature, handling incident requests and problems clients might be facing in accordance with procedural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibility of a Technical Support Analyst are but not limited to:

*Managing a large quantity of service desk calls and executing a variety of tasks such as:

oWriting advanced SQL scripts and queries whilst reviewing the code for bugs and expected functionality.

*Dealing with server configuration, the installation of software and data handling.

*Providing maintenance and disaster recovery service.

*Monitoring and managing all ticket requests whilst making sure all are kept up to date within SLA.

*Recognising trends and repetitive issues in the system and making these issues known.

Skills and Experience Required:

*Solid experience in writing SQL queries and SQL scripts. (Essential)

*Exceptional customer service experience, application support and experience in the management of incidents. (Essential)

*Knowledge of ITIL principles (Desirable)

*Technical experience in debugging and programming with ASP.net or .NET. (Desirable)

*Prior technical experience or knowledge of the education industry using MIS based systems. (Desirable)
