Role: Electrical Supervisor

Rate: £23/hour

Location: Minley

Duration: 3 Months

Main Tasks:Plan, develop and lead electrical maintenance staff in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance and repair services, including regime of testing and inspection, to all electrical systems and equipment, power distribution and controls, lighting systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, building management systems(BMS), and security systems, wiring, cabling and conduits, and all associated components across the Estate, including site wide electrical infrastructureProvide expert diagnosis of electrical faults, and plan implement and co-ordinate repairs, working in collaboration with maintenance service colleaguesIdentify improvements in electrical services supply to the Estate, develop supporting business cases as required, and upon approval, plan and implement cost effective solutions, supporting the company's environmental and sustainability objectivesIdentification and planning of a programme of training in electrical systems and equipment to colleagues, auditors, inspectors and third parties as requiredProvision of subject matter expertise in electrical systems, testing and inspection, and advice on technological developments that would benefit service delivery on the contractCo-ordination and supervision of day to day site checks, processing of work orders, and management of repairs as required in support of the company's service level obligationsDelivery of site wide programme of predictive maintenance for electrical systems, in line with company asset management improvement plan, and lifecycle planningDevelopment and management of site wide budget for electrical services, including costs of third-party contractors and consultantsProvision of operational reporting relating to electrical services as required by management teamIdentification, development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for electrical services across the EstateManagement of implementation of asset replacement programmes including electrical systems upgrades and replacements as requiredResponsibility for maintenance of accurate and up to date inventory for electrical supplies and assetsEnsure the company's Computerised Maintenance Management System remains accurate and up to date in relation to electrical infrastructureDevelop and maintain over time accurate electrical wiring drawings for site wide electrical installations and cablingFlexible approach to working outside normal working hours and taking part in the On-Call rotaPromotion of best practice in electrical safety in the workplace, including training to colleagues as required by the company and instructed by Electrical Supervisor / company managementUndertake personal professional development and attend statutory and regulatory training as required for the roleEnsure company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied withComplete any other tasks that are deemed within your area of competence

Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of City & Guilds Electrical Installation 2391Minimum five years in similar working environment, with minimum three years of electrical services operational deliveryLatest edition wiring regulations qualification (BS7671)Experience in producing and evaluating Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)Experience in supervising and/or managing electrical installations projectsEducated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths & English).Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages (minimum Word & Excel)Hold a driving licence suitable for use in the UKProven track record of working within a busy customer focused organisationThorough knowledge and understanding of the Construction Design &Management (CDM) Regulations 2015 and any further amendmentsQualified IOSH Managing Safely
