Senior Java Developer (Multi-threading J2SE Pricing / Risk). Leading online trading company is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and develop components to support their pricing and risk trading platform utilising a range of modern technologies (including TIBCO, StreamBase, SR Labs and OneTick). This is a senior role requiring you to take on a variety of responsibilities including; designing and developing pricing and risk components to support the firms market-making business, collaborating with key groups such as quant and financial engineering teams to ensure products are implemented efficiently and mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.

Requirements:

*Strong Java 8 development skills and J2SE

*Understanding of computing fundamentals, object orientated programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systems

*Experience across the full software development lifecycle

*Previous experience developing large scale systems

*Excellent communication skills

*Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
