Propeller Powered provide an integrated Web and Mobile App based Field Management and Compliance solution to property maintenance contractors and housing associations.

We are looking for an experienced c# .net software developer to join our agile and fast-paced development team.

Duties and responsibilities:

Developing, maintaining and supporting the Propeller web application and web services.

Support specification and estimation of new software projects

Testing software & mobile applications

Assisting with onboarding new clients

Analysing and resolving technical and application problems

Contributing to the refinement of organisational processes & procedures

Tracking work tasks/sprints using Asana

Key technical skills and attributes:

C# with ASP.NET in Visual Studio

HTML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript, jQuery

Excellent knowledge of SQL Server/authoring fast SQL queries/sprocs

Experience using GIT Source Control (or similar)

Strong understanding of software architecture principles

Candidates should have:

Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Awareness of secure software development and web standards

Understanding of GDPR and the security and integrity of customers' data

Proactive approach to problem management

Willingness to research and learn new skills and technologies

Ability to work well in a team

A ‘can-do' attitude

Candidates who have specialisms/experience in any of the below will be given extra consideration:

Security - experience of developing applications which conform to security guidelines (OWASP, Cyber Essentials)

SQL Server Database Administration - optimising performance, disaster recovery etc.

Windows Server maintenance/configuration/optimisation (Powershell, DOS etc)

UI/UX design

Android/IOS development to support existing app developers
