A growing London based Artificial Intelligence company is seeking an Operations Support / DevOps Engineer to join its team based near Aldgate. This role will involve supporting their innovative Ai communications platform which is rolling out to financial institutions and some government bodies.As an Operations Support / DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Installing, Configuring and upgrading software for clients both on-site via remote, and in the cloud.
3rd line (escalation) software support - typically working directly with 1st or 2nd line staff.
Operations support - guiding clients through using the software in more complex scenarios, processing and reviewing data samples.
Quality assurance - reviewing and validating customer setups, validating installations and upgrades and reviewing outputs.
Basic scripting, debugging and Linux administration - including cloud orchestration, backups and system monitoring.
To be a successful Operations Support / DevOps Engineer, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Previous experience working in a software development environment.
Experience with Linux system administration.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude to represent the business when dealing with new and existing customers.
Fluent spoken and written English.
An extensive technical background, preferably from experience working in IT, Network Operations, Technical Support or similar.
Scripting experience - e.g. Bash, Python, Powershell, Javascript or Perl.
The ability to work independently or as part of a mixed operations and development team.
In return, the Operations Support / DevOps Engineer will receive a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 pa, a £1000 signing bonus, a pension scheme, gym membership and healthcare/dental insurance.
