Successful software house is seeking a Scala Developer to join a team of 4 developers who are working on one of the company's core platforms. The platform deals with all consumer communication through emails, letters, text messages and phone and you'll be responsible for developing software that actions and prioritises the level of communication with a key focus on scalability and reliability. You'll be working closely with the Principal Scala Developers who will provide continuous support and mentoring whilst encouraging you to learn and explore new technologies allowing you to reach your full potential as a Scala Developer.

Based in London, you will be joining a friendly, relaxed and supportive team.

Requirements:

*Must have an interest in Scala / functional programming languages and be happy to use Scala going forward

*Passionate about learning new technologies

*Familiar with TDD and CI/CD

*Enjoy working collaboratively to build features that will have a positive impact on customers

*Degree educated in Computer Science or similar (2:1 or above)

*Excellent communication skills

*Desirable: Experience with web technologies such as Angular or React, Kafka, AWS
