They say the average job seeker spends approximately 90 seconds reading a job ad before deciding whether to press 'apply' or 'next', so I wanted to take this opportunity to craft something short and (hopefully) sweet...I have partnered up with a Digital Consultancy in London who are looking to hire an experienced Digital Architect with a background in e-Commerce, Hybris and platform design. The role is part of a company-wide recruitment drive, aimed at improving the way they deliver solutions to their customers.Your role will see you take ownership of the delivery of said solutions, working on a range of digital transformations in the e-Commerce space with the roles focusing on both internal and external stakeholder management. You will be embedded within talented project teams, with the core focus being the transformation of complex business requirements into high-level solutions architecture with a wider focus on E2E design. You will lead teams, ensuring best practices around SEO, usability and UI are followed and will be expected to both define and implement any designs. In terms of specific requirements, rather than copying and pasting the JD, I wanted to highlight a couple of specific things you should be demonstrating on your CV:E2E Architecture Experience - proven technical architecture experience around e-Commerce, digital and/or retail solutions in either an End User, ISV or Software Partner. This should include knowledge of architectures/methods including UML, TOGAF, N-Tier and Microservices.Technologies - you must demonstrate proven experience working with solutions/packages including SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG, IBM WebSphere, Adobe CQ, OpenText ECM etc. Experience working with wider technologies (e.g. Java, AWS, REST, SOAP) would also be hugely beneficial.Stakeholder Management Skills - you should have a proven commercial background working with both technical and business-facing stakeholders, including the ability to both manage and influence expectations.Leadership Skills - whilst this isn't a management role, you will be expected to act as a technical leader on numerous projects so should have some proven leadership skills. This business is all about communication so the ability to influence and drive performance from team members is vitally important. So if this advert has been short enough to make you think 'I want this job' then why not apply?
