Junior Systems Architect (Extensive Training) Experis Consulting has an exciting and unique opportunity for ambitious individuals to be trained in all aspects of Systems Architecture, whilst working for one of the leading solution providers in UK's defence sector. This is a great opportunity to join Experis' ever growing consulting division where you will be trained and developed whilst representing Experis on one of our leading accounts.If you have previous systems engineering experience gained within a defence or any other sector and have genuine passion and drive to further your career, then this could be the opportunity for you. In the initial period you will be working on multiple projects focussing on the core set of skills needed to become a qualified Systems Architect. You will utilise your current skills to apply yourself to the environment while undertaking a bespoke training plan giving you access to experience across a wide range of tools and technologies.In order to fit the criteria applicants must have existing experience gained in IT environment. You must also:Have a Degree Level qualification or equivalent (ideally in engineering or technical discipline)CEng or equivalentHave experience in engineering/systems engineering (or relevant other technical discipline)Whilst on the training programme you will gain the following skills that will further your career:Architecting of complex engineered systemscombat systems/mission systems domain knowledgeArchitecture description e.g. using UML, EA toolArchitecture generationAfter completing your training, you will be qualified to:Devise of systems architectures (and/or related concepts) which capture the problem to be solved and/or essential features (form, structure, characteristics, principles) of the outline solutionEngage with customers, other stakeholders, suppliers, other technical disciplines to help develop an appropriate understanding of the problem and to form the bases of viable solutionsPerform more than one of generating, elaborating and evaluating systems architecturesDirect technical documentation in support of work carried outDeliver work and reports on progress to project leads and customersAnticipate and escalate major problems with appropriate business and professional discipline staffBe responsible for managing the output of assigned junior systems architectsBenefitsCompetitive salary based on a 37.5 hour working week, with bonus opportunitiesA sophisticated training programme comprised of online and in role training to develop skills in an area that is ever growing in demandOther benefits includeContributory pension schemeEnhanced Life Insurance CoverEmployee Assistance ProgramEnhanced Accident Insurance22 days holiday + bank holidaysSick pay
