AWS Architect/DevOps- Contract - Sheffield - 6 Month Rolling Job This is an opportunity to get involved with a brand new DevOps team in Sheffield for a global organisation who are the leading company within their respected industry. The business is currently looking to hire a Senior AWS Architect/DevOps engineer to lead a team of 3 DevOps engineers, the right person for the job will have extensive AWS experience. This will be an initial 6 month contract but there is a least two years worth of work to get involved with.

Technologies & experience needed are below -

- Direct connect

- Transit gateway

- EC2 and Lambda as well as other compute services such as load balancers , SNS, SQS, WAF, Shield to name a few……

- Ability to manage infrastructure as code through Cloud formation (mandatory) / Terraform (optional)

- Will be proactive in building monitoring as code - contributing to the platform - will build and run what they build.

- Will be doing daily stand-ups as an ASG unit looking at operational health, triaging incidents, improving the service and inputting to the engineering backlog

- Will contribute to architecture as well as being a DevOps lead.
