Full Stack Developer
Contract
£500 a day

My client is a market leading company who require an experienced Full Stack Developer on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining my client's large scale ecommerce online system.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
*Provide estimates for tasks and the development of new features
*Ensure Software testing and quality assurance processes across the organization are followed
*Liaise with internal business users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs
*Performance tuning, refactoring/redesign, automation
*Integrate software with existing enterprise / 3rd party systems
*Development of new applications and maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and remediating software defects, supported by relevant documentation based on PMO guidelines
*Adhere to industry standard patterns, practices and processes
*Demonstrate clear, effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff within the Technology and Business environment
*Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
*Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
Knowledge and Skills
Clientside:
*Excellent level of proficiency in markup languages (HTML, SVG, XML)
*Cascading style sheets - CSS, Post/Preprocessors (Less/PostCSS), CSS framework (Bootstrap), Responsive design
*Ecmascript 6, React, Performance awareness, Async programming.
Serverside:
*Programming: Java 8, Spring MVC, Spring security, Apache Velocity, JAXB, Concurrency programing, SOAP/Rest API.
*Data storage: MongoDB, Criteria API, Aggregation.
*Networking: HTTP2, TLS, websocket, Apache proxy, RabbitMQ/STOMP
